Syncing Across Devices

Your conversations sync automatically across all devices.

How Sync Works

When you're signed in:

  • New conversations appear on all devices
  • Message history syncs in real-time
  • Settings sync across devices
  • Archive and delete actions sync

Sync Status

Check sync status:

  • Look for the sync indicator in the sidebar
  • Green = synced
  • Yellow = syncing
  • Red = sync error

Troubleshooting Sync

If sync isn't working:

  1. Check your internet connection
  2. Sign out and back in
  3. Force close and reopen the app
  4. Check status page for issues

Offline Mode

When offline:

  • You can view previous conversations
  • New messages queue for sending
  • Sync resumes when online

Selective Sync

On mobile, you can limit sync to save data:

  1. Go to Settings > Sync
  2. Choose "Sync over Wi-Fi only"
